Dr. R. S. Porter
Dr. R. S. Porter, originally from Huntsville, relocated to Seattle after high school where he first encountered the transformative effects of Upper Cervical chiropractic care. His personal battle with chronic allergies, headaches, acid reflux, and developing fatigue was completely resolved through chiropractic treatments, inspiring him to pursue a career in the field.
Dr. Porter returned to academia, earning a Bachelor of Science and a Doctorate in Chiropractic. He studied Exercise Science at Seattle Pacific University, earning several personal training certifications, including from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a personal trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Sports Performance Specialist. Additionally, he holds certifications from the American Council on Exercise (ACE), the National Council on Strength & Fitness, and Apex Fitness and Nutrition.
His chiropractic journey began at Parker University in Dallas, where he was active in the Upper Cervical club and the Student Government Association, and worked as an anatomy lab assistant. Dr. Porter completed his clinical studies at Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in Spartanburg, S.C., a school known for its focus on Upper Cervical care in both curriculum and clinical practice. During his four years at chiropractic school, Dr. Porter was deeply involved in Upper Cervical seminars and trained in various Upper Cervical techniques. He is also Webster Technique Certified by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
