About Dr. Mike Merkt
Dr. Mike Merkt, an upper cervical chiropractor at Specific Chiropractic Centers in Naples, Florida, was born and raised in Wisconsin. With a strong community orientation and a drive rooted in empathy and integrity, Dr. Merkt finds happiness in connecting with people and making them laugh. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree at UW Milwaukee and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Northwestern Chiropractic College. Dr. Merkt has distinguished himself as a speaker and researcher, presenting at the International Research and Philosophy Symposium at Sherman College of Chiropractic in both 2018 and 2019. He is also committed to global health initiatives, participating in bi-annual Chiropractic Outreach mission trips with The Art of the Specific, serving an average of 4,000 people in locations such as Mexico City and El Salvador.
