Dr. Marilyn Peterson, renowned for her expertise in delivering safe and effective upper cervical adjustments, caters to a diverse clientele including adults, children, and individuals with Neurodevelopmental Disorders in her Snellville office, established in 2003. Embracing the Upper Cervical Specific Technique, she ensures meticulous, compassionate care, affirming her commitment to her patients’ well-being.
Originally from upstate New York and having lived in Cape Canaveral, FL, Dr. Peterson relocated to Atlanta in 1986. A dedicated single parent to six children, one of whom has severe Autism, she adopted three siblings in 1997. Dr. Peterson enjoys horseback riding, water sports, gardening, camping, and beekeeping. A Life University alumnus, she holds a Bachelor’s in Nutrition and a Doctorate in Chiropractic. Trained in various specialized protocols, she actively contributes to the Special Needs community and is affiliated with multiple chiropractic and local organizations.
Dr. Peterson’s approach extends beyond chiropractic care, offering comprehensive support through Bio-Nutritional Screening and programs like Brain Blossom and Brain-Based Mentorship. In 2002, she founded Parkwood Farms Therapy Center, providing therapeutic riding and serving as its CEO. The center, under her guidance, has become a haven for individuals with disabilities, enriching lives through various therapeutic programs.
