Dr. Dustin Whitney
Dr. Dustin Whitney D.C. pursued his studies in kinesiology and human physiology at the University of Alberta, Edmonton. As a first-generation chiropractor, he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, in 2006.
Upon graduation, Dr. Whitney was inducted into the Phi Tau Delta Chiropractic Honors Society and completed his post-graduate work as a Blair Upper Cervical Practitioner, earning Level I instructor certification from the Blair Upper Cervical Society. During his studies, he also commenced his post-doctoral training in functional neurology at the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies in Marietta, Georgia.
He has furthered his education in clinical nutrition, exercise physiology, detoxification, and lifestyle coaching. In 2012, he founded Alberta Preventative Health Services, where he has helped hundreds of families reduce disease risks and reach their healthiest potential. Dr. Whitney’s passion for health was deeply influenced by his mother’s battle and recovery from life-threatening clinical depression, driving him to help his patients achieve their full health potential. Committed to improving community health one family at a time, Dr. Whitney actively contributes to local health initiatives, including his role in Project Homeless and founding a free chiropractic clinic at The Mustard Seed in 2012.
